The SP26mm is a modestly wide field eyepiece suitable for object acquisition, observation of galaxies, nebula, and star clusters, and will perform well for terrestrial viewing. It also provides a wider view showing Jupiter's 4 prominent moons as they are arrayed about the planet. Compared to the SP32mm, the SP26mm provides more power for a closer view. Sky-Watcher Super Plossl eyepieces offer edge-to-edge sharpness, blackened barrel interiors, mlticoated optics, rubber grips on longer focal lengths and rubber eyecups. SP eyepieces offer a wide 52° apparent field of view (AFV). The symetrical 4-element 1.25" Plossl design is the worldwide standard for premium eyepiece optical performance at popular prices
