INTRODUCING THE SYNLINK UNIVERSAL ASTROIMAGING CONTROLLER

The SynLink Universal Astroimaging Controller replaces the stack of hardware that usually sits between your telescope and your images — the mini PC, the hub, the tangle of USB and power cables — with one box that mounts directly to the rig. Everything runs from the free SynLink app on Android, iOS, Windows, or Mac.

SYNLINK PLAYS WELL WITH OTHERS
The part that matters most: SynLink isn’t locked to Sky-Watcher equipment. It supports cameras, mounts, focusers, filter wheels, rotators, and flat panels across a wide range of brands, so you can bring the gear you already own. Most devices are recognized automatically when you connect them.

POWER FOR THE MODERN IMAGER
Connectivity is built for a full imaging train. Six full-size USB ports (four USB 3.0, two USB 2.0) plus a USB-C port. Four DC outputs deliver 5A each, up to10A total, alongside two DC inputs, two independently controlled dew heater channels, and a dedicated serial port for supported Sky-Watcher mounts.

ONE APP TO RULE THEM ALL
Dual-band Wi-Fi with an external antenna handles the wireless link, and the included mounting shoe attaches to the side or bottom of the unit. On the software side, SynLink covers a session end to end. Guided polar alignment walks you through slewing, plate solving, and correction. Autofocus, multi-star guiding, and plate-solved GoTo are all a tap away. Browse targets by catalog, by tonight’s best list, or by panning the interactive sky map with nebula catalog overlays switched on.

The sequencer is where unattended imaging happens. Easy mode builds a night from exposure, gain, and frame count; Pro mode opens up advanced scripting. Enable dithering, autofocus triggers, cloud recovery, and meridian flip behavior, then set the controller to park your gear and shut itself down when the sequence finishes. Built-in remote access lets you check in from anywhere over the internet.
